Leading Phase Electrical
Electrician
A bit about me …
How long have you been in the electrical services game?
I’ve been an electrician now for 7 years and I love it! The apprenticeship is pretty hard, but I was lucky to have some good guys around me as a young fella so that’s what I want to do for my guys. In my eyes it’s all about teamwork. The toughest part of the apprenticeship is probably the exams as it’s very technical which you would expect but once you become qualified it’s a real buzz.
I was born in Tairua so another seaside town, but I spent most of my childhood in Ngatea. Like most teens growing up close to the Coromandel or the Bay of Plenty you always wanted to be closer to the beach, so I was absolutely stoked when I was given the opportunity to move to Tauranga and play rugby here.
What club do you play for now?
I’m at Greerton Marist at the moment which is an awesome club; really family orientated, and the spirit down there is epic! It feels like home, and I have made some great mates both on and off the field. Feel very grateful that’s for sure.
Future goals?
My future goals are to have a great team of guys working on some big projects mostly in the industrial sector but also large commercial. I’d love to also have an automation and design division working on programming of industrial automation.
